Are you looking to purchase an Apple iMac computer? Are you also thinking about getting additional items for that iMac?

Do you know that you can save money if you purchase an iMac bundle instead of buying the computer, then adding the extra items separately?

There are a few bundle options for iMac computers available, for example, you can get a mid - 2017 iMac 27 inch retina with 5K display, 3.5GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB Fusion drive bundled with a SanDisk 32GB Cruzer Glide USB flash drive, Belkin 12-outlet surge protector BE112230-08, a 2- year extended warranty and a deluxe cleaning kit.

checking to see if the bundle is really a deal

So, I decided to check out the cost of the iMac alone and the price of the additional items to see if this bundle is really a deal.

This is what I found. Let's start with Apple store on Amazon. This iMac with similar features cost around $2000 (this is the newer version of course), but at the time of writing this was on sale with a 10% reduction. The bundled iMac mentioned above cost between $1700 to $1750.

If you add the cost of the bundles items; the SanDisk 32GB Cruzer Glide USB flash drive, Belkin 12-outlet surge protector BE112230-08, a 2-year extended warranty and a deluxe cleaning kit, the bundled iMac is cheaper than the one in the Apple Amazon store and in Apple's actual store.

So it appears that you actually save some money if you buy the bundled iMac package. I am not going to lie, the savings is not extravagant, but I think it's good enough and worth checking out. Especially if you're in the market for an iMac.

Should i buy the imac bundle?

Should you buy it? Well, that depends on what you're looking for. If price point is one of your concerns and you have to get the items the iMac is bundled with, then you should definitely consider it.

If however, you want a more updated iMac computer (remember this is a mid-2017 version), then you will have to consider another option.

I 've looked for bundles of the new iMac and iMac Pro, but unfortunately, I did not find much. However, I did find an iMac 2019, but to be honest you can save some money, but the saving is not really that much. You can read about it below at the end.

If you're a graphic artist, a photographer or a travel or lifestyle blogger then you might be interested in this bundle.

The bundle features an iMac 27-Inch Retina 5K Desktop (3.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB DDR3, 2TB Fusion, Mac OS X). It is bundles with 2-year extended warranty, lens pen cleaner, deluxe cleaning kit, ear buds and Corel Mac Photo Essentials software kit (Corel alone retails for around $200 plus).

This iMac computer bundle is selling for under $2000 and if you compare it with similar iMacs you do save some money, however, this is a much older version than the one above. It's a 2015 release. If that is not a problem for you, then you get it and save a couple hundred dollars.

iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019

Like I wrote above, this bundle does not offer the biggest savings, but it's a saving nonetheless. This iMac features a 27-Inch with Retina 5K Display (early 2019) and is bundled with a table top tripod, lens cleaning kit, blower brush and a lens pen cleaner.

While this might not save you a lot of money, you may need some of the items to help keep your iMac clean anyway. I told you it wasn't so impressive.

What's kind of impressive though, is the price of this bundle. It will cost you under $1800 hundred and that is not bad for a 2019 model Apple iMac with a 3.0 GHz Intel Core i5 Six-Core, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 1TB Fusion drive, 27" 5120 2880 IPS Retina 5K display, AMD Radeon Pro 570X GPU (4GB), SDXC card reader and more. What do you think?
