Easter Egg Sugar Cookies

Looking for a fun and delicious Easter treat to make with the whole family? These Easter Egg Sugar Cookies are sure to be a hit! With a prep time of only 45 minutes (including 20 minutes to chill the dough) and a cook time of just 8 minutes, you can whip up a batch of 24-26 cookies in no time. So gather your ingredients and get ready to make some sweet memories with your loved ones this holiday season.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Food coloring
• Sprinkles
  
  Other Suplies:
  Egg-shaped and or bunny-shaped cookie cutters.
  Parchment paper.
  Different colored icing, assorted candies.
  
  

How to make:
(1) In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

(2) In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

(3) Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.

(4) Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until just combined.

(5) Form the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic cling wrap. Place the dough in the freezer and let it chill for 20 minutes.

(6) Remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.

(7) On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll the dough out until it is ¼-inch thick.

(8) Use an egg-shaped cookie cutter or a bunny-shaped cookie cutter to cut out your preferable Easter cookie shapes.

(9) Select -Bake - set the temperature to 350 °F and 8 minutes. Press Start.

(10) Once the Air fryer is preheated, open the air fryer basket, line a parchment paper, and then transfer the cookies onto the lined parchment paper sheet, placing them one inch apart.

(11) Remove the cookies from the Instant Pot Vortex Plus and let them cool on a wire rack.

(12) Once the cookies are cool, decorate them with frosting or sprinkles.
