Ha Long Bay Vietnam

Emerald waters is one of the many features that make Ha Long Bay Vietnam a must see. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay is a very popular tourist attraction located in the Quảng Ninh Province of Vietnam.

The bay has some 1,600 islands and islets, most of which are uninhabitated and unaffected by humans. The islands and islets are limestone, and they create a breathtaking view with many pillars rising from the waters.

 

According to a description by UNESCO, "A distinctive feature of Ha Long Bay is the abundance of lakes within the larger limestone islands."

 

March to June are probably the best time to visit Ha Long Bay.
